Lawrenceville, GA (April 9, 2007) - Network Communications, Inc. (NCI), the leading publisher and provider of printed and online real estate information and advertising in North America, today announced the acquisition of Relocating In St. Louis. This newest addition marks the sixth new Home Improvement and Design title by NCI in the past seven months. Home Improvement and Design, the fastest growing division of NCI, reaches over one million affluent consumers who invest substantially in improving their homes.
Relocating in St. Louis has grown steadily since its launch in 2006, with a circulation of 10,000. The quarterly publication provides readers with information they need about their new community and offers advertisers the opportunity to connect with new residents establishing a home in the St. Louis area. All of the company's employees will continue on with the magazine.
Relocating in St. Louis will complement NCI sister title St. Louis Homes and Lifestyles, an established magazine offering readers solutions and inspiration on all aspects of home, life and style, as well as information on local products, services and real estate.
"Relocating in St. Louis will provide the added breadth necessary for NCI to build a dominant presence in the St. Louis market. With the Relocating team staying on, the transition is expected to be seamless. We look forward to leveraging NCI's expanded reach and proprietary web capabilities to help Relocating in St. Louis grow and develop to its full potential," said Suzie Osterloh, Publishing Director for St. Louis Homes and Lifestyles.
Ed Barnes, Senior Vice President of Sales, NCI's Home Improvement and Design division adds, "Relocating in St. Louis is a great addition to our rapidly growing Home Improvement and Design portfolio to not only expand our reach in the St. Louis market but also strengthen the NCI presence in the Midwestern states."
