DANIEL MCCARTHY, CHAIRMAN AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Since May 2002, Mr. McCarthy has served as NCI's Chairman and CEO as well as the Chairman and CEO of its ultimate parent company, Gallarus Media Holdings (GMH), which was created in January 2005 to facilitate acquisition by Citigroup Venture Capital.

From 2000 to 2001, Mr. McCarthy served as President and CEO of Themestream, Inc., a special interest Web portal. Prior to Themestream, Mr. McCarthy was President and CEO of PRIMEDIA Enthusiast Group, the largest publisher of consumer special interest magazines. Before joining PRIMEDIA, Mr. McCarthy was President and CEO of Cowles Business Media, a business-to-business publishing company serving the media and marketing industries. He started his career with Communications Trends, Inc., a business intelligence company serving the media and information industries.
